Maternity sessions are short and very sweet and one of my very favourite types to capture. There is something very special about capturing a woman carrying her precious unborn baby. She has a glow, a warmth, a special kind of joy that radiates from her. She is already a mother. She already cares so much for this baby about to be brought into this world.

This is Ashley and Euan’s first baby and their excitement was palpable. I met with them just a few weeks ago at the side of the road in a buttercup field. Beautiful locations can be found everywhere. You don’t have to travel far!

Please enjoy this highlight reel of their maternity shoot. I’ve already met and photographed their new baby. I’ll leave those images for another time!

Please do get in touch of you are pregnant and would like to capture this special time in beautiful imagery.

The image below shows how Ashley and Euan chose to display their images. Their very favourites were framed in a stunning coastal style wooden frame and the others they chose to be printed loose ready to be framed. As a print artist seeing the final images in print is my favourite part of the process.

As part of your experience with me as your photographer I will take the time to show you your final edited images in a slideshow. We then design and create wall galleries, multi-aperture frames, albums or folio boxes that suit your home, style and budget. The only hard work you have to do is to choose your the images you LOVE! Then sit back and wait a few weeks for the final products to arrive and enjoy them on your walls every day, making your house a home.
